Olivier AMOS

Manager of Orange mobile expertise laboratory (team of 13 people + consultants). Daily work consists of team management, engineering test procedures for new technologies and leading current test activities of Orange Group’s Device Operational Skill Center.
Responsible for the testing roadmap including :
• Pre-launch device validation tests,
• Complex post-launch investigations (2G and 3G protocols, radio and network interoperability),
• QoS engineering (ISO 9001 certified),
• New technology experiments,
• Technical crises steering.
Reporting to Orange Corporate and from handset manufacturers, including :
• Defining objectives and measuring achievements,
• Developing a competent workforce to meet growth plans within budget,
• Managing the workload balance and liaising with other Orange test entities and device vendors,
• Negotiating and implementing unit budgets, reporting on service quality KPIs for all engineering and technical areas.

I am moreover responsible for innovation of my operational unit (370 people)

France Telecom’s Information System Deployment Manager (networks and operator’s division) : deployment of computing applications on the whole FT network, liaison with local deployment correspondents, entity managers, final users and FT national services. Involved strong development of skills in organisation, coordination, negotiation, synthesis and flexibility.

2002 : Development of a statistics web server in order to measure France Telecom’s commuted telephonic network quality of service (DvSI, Issy-les-Moulineaux)
2001 : Responsible for the experimentation of the national system for FT customer’s telephonic numbers portability (15 transverse contributors)
2000 : Analysis of the FT Information System specifications and validation of a network’s alerts gathering solution on SNMP (FTR&D Meylan)

QoS tests on multilingual Adobe’s software. User interfaces improvement. MacOS software installer implementation. Data base supervision (Grenoble)
