VMware is facing a strong expansion, between 80 and 100%. In order to follow the group growth, an alliance team was created to initiate and manage the relationship with other technology vendors. I was promoted to this team.
- Develop and manage the strategic partnerships in EMEA with software vendors, supporting an activity of $500M (2008), the major 2008 partners are SAP, BEA, NetApp, EMC, Intel and Cisco for the region.
- Recruit Software Vendors based in EMEA, from 11 partners to 100 EMEA partnership signed in 2007,
- Support marketing events for the global companies,
Work with local and global players to enable the use and support of VMware products in their solutions,
- Prepare common go to market strategies,
Influence Software companies strategies to push the inclusion of virtualisation concept and products,
- Negotiate and manage partnership.
