Olivier BOEGNER
Cadre technique mise en service à l'étranger, S2M
After radio and Anti-collision Radar installations on merchant Marine ships mainly in France, I wanted to live abroad and joined Thomson (LGT) for the TV/FM broadcasting network (from 1993-1998) in the beautiful Sultanat of Oman.
In 2000, I joined the field services of S2M (active magnetic bearings) and now whish to introduce more "renewable" customers to this technology besides the oil and gas customers. 'typically seeking high reliability on high speed shafts, and very low maintance compared with "oil bearings").
Since I sailed a solar boat across France and across the Channel (June 2008 on a 60NM "broad reach"), I know our future energy source is the sun (directly or indirectly)
I wish to be further involved in developing alternatives energy applications.
Also when driving an electric vehicule you naturally rethink your day program...
