For 6 years I have worked in Rolls-Royce Barnoldswick in the FANS division as Acquisition Engineer:
- Define equipment requirements
- Work with procurement to ensure contractual arrangements are in place and negotiate contract terms
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure equipment is specified correctly
- Down select suppliers against defined criteria
- Supervise and manage the design and the assembly of the equipment against the agreed project plan
- Co-ordinate and lead test activities

As part of my greatest achievements I was part of the Achord team for building and providing equipment to the new Rolls-Royce factory in Singapour for the production of Wide Chord Fan Blades Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB. As a member of the team I’m in charge of four different processes involving several pieces of equipment.
