Conduct an S&OP project with one of the largest steel-manufacturing companies.

Collaborating with the Supply Chain Manager, i managed to create several automated and user-friendly tools using VBA and SQL with functionalities such as :

- 1-Year Sales Forecasting based on a linear regression or Average consumption

- Convert the forecasting sales to Demands for each Production machine

- Calculate the Production Capaciy for each Machine

- Compare Deman and Capacity for each Machine & Take Adjustments

Achievements :

- Define the functionalities needed for materials maintenance and determine the project scope.

- Define and create the maintenance dashboards using B.I.R.T (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools).

- Train the maintenance coordinators and technicians to use the CMMS software.

- Audit and build a project specification document in order to list future functionalities to set in an upgrading project.

Process Mapping of each warehouse process

Achievements :

- Map the warehouse processes and eliminate non value added actions

- Calculate Standard times for each process: Inbound/pick & pack / transshipment / Re-labeling / Outbound

- Realize quantitative approaches towards problems encountered

Mainly based on the learning of Import/Export processes as well as the Purchasing process

Achievements :

- Assimilate the Import/Export Processes & Incoterms used

- Assimilate the Transit process in Casablanca airport

- Assimilate Basics of the purchasing process

- Use briefly SAP system for raw material purchasing
