Dueto the fast growth of ETAI, I have proposed to the CEO a technical and a business plan that modifies the software architecture and interface with our partners and competitors. For this, I had to :
• Write a report about needs, market research, benchmarking and prioritization. In this report I have recommended at the CEO :
o adopting an SOA
o risk assessment
o ESB implementation and these connectors
o a plan to change our processes to support the growth and Quality-cost-delivery (CMMI/SCRUM)
This depended on the company resources and investments to simultaneously manage : daily business and restructuring of existing processes.
• Make the design the project and manage the change : meeting facilitation, KPIs creation, project manager support. From an existing XML protocol in order to develop internationalization, speed, flexibility and to decrease the TCO (SOAP). conception of the "XAT2 EVA" protocol for repair, automotive parts distribution and expertise insurance (2000 day-man). xat2.etai.fr
• Implement a communication plan for internal departments, clients (Renault, Fiat, New Holland, GAU, AD, Starexcel …), software editor partners (Sage, EBP, Fujitsu, Reynolds, Fiducial), and the insurers (DARVA, ANEA, AAA).
• Make partnership contract between us and the ERP editors. Define a business strategy (sale of portfolio).
1998 - 2008The Council of museums is a web agency which creates web sites and web software ( www.inter-regions-musees.org ).
For the CIRM, I have managed these projects :
• Alienor : Creation of a web site with a workflow to produce publication about the museum items with broadcast on : news, books, TV and internet. Creation of methods and rules to produce documents which could be accessible on paper, computer, mobile and for deficient people. ( www.oceaniedeslumieres.org : Action script , CSS, DHTML, Ajax Web 2.0)
• A regional network for the digitalization of museum's items : Creation of a high bit rate network and some infrastructure to digitalize the museum items in high definition (HD Scanner, digital pictures, data management and storage).
• AlienorWeb free and pro : Creation and sale of a SAAS platform (groupware, workflow, ECM) for museums using a free distribution and service sale. ( www.alienor.org/Alienorweb/ : ASP - PHP5 et sourceforge.net/projects/alienorweblibre/ 5 000 man-day)
• Babel : Search engine for patrimonial data bases with ECI of EMC2 and a integrated ETL. Babel uses all the java classes of ECI for backoffice and a website in JSP in front office (2 000 man-day)
• Sphinx : Expert system to consolidate museums data with a writing rules language, an analysis motor and an integration in AlienorWeb software. Sphinx is based on tomcat (server application) and XML-XSLT (interface) (3000 man-day)
• RFID tracking : design, feasibility study and subcontractor choice for the first experimentation in France of the RFID tracking of museum items.
