1998 - 2006Senior Consultant for large accounts such as the SNCF, EDF, GDF, Orange / France Telecom, SFR, Société Générale, BNP Paribas, CEA, Socotec, several ministries, ...
1990 - 1998I have worked mostly for Société Générale, one of the largest french banks, where I managed several projects :
- development of a teledistribution solution to VAX/VMS servers and PC/DOS clients (more than 3000 servers and 20000 clients)
- network architecture evolutions to respond to growing needs for bandwidth
- printing architecture redesign and development
I have also consulted for other clients in these areas :
- performance optimizations for systems and networks architectures
- audit of existing and definition of new infrastructures
1982 - 1990My first job. I began as an intern and then I was employed as a programmer in a small team where we developed an EDA software application which was one of the leading solutions of that time.
Rapidly, the team has grown and I have lead the development of one of the applications of the package.
After 5 years, I took the responsibility to oversee future technical directions for the software. In particular, we decided to port the software (which was running on VAX/VMS and several Unices) to the PC platform under OS/2 and I have lead that effort.
