My Name is Rachael Hampton. I am a Consultant, Motivational Speaker, Instructor, Freelance Artistic Director, Graphic and Web Designer, and Photographer. I am an American expatriate, moved to France in 1999, and have been affiliated with the Maison des Artistes in France since 2003.
I serve a diverse clientele as my native language is American English, I am fluent in French, and I am currently learning German!

My 16-year professional history encompasses six years of Agency experience in PARIS and SAN FRANCISCO; nine years as Freelance Graphic & Web Designer; two years as a professor of New Media Design at Créapole in Paris; and, three years as an professor at Ecole Pivault in Nantes.

I am a Multicultural, bilingual, creative, honest, and dynamic person, who is motivated by my passion which is my profession.
After living and working for over 14 years in France and having travelled throughout the world, I have developed an understanding of foreign marketing strategy and designs. My concepts and designs are always up to date with the latest technology and sustainable practices, combining Artistic ability with American and foreign marketing strategies to produce AUTHENTIC DESIGNS.

I do this for my clients by combining the best of art, commerce, and sustainable practices. Thinking about the "BEFORE and AFTER" of a project, however, is what makes the difference. Often beginning with only a concept and imagination, I work as a creative partner to solve problems and develop AUTHENTIC CONCEPTS and DESIGN STRATEGIES. My flexibility, mobility, sustainable practices, and cross-cultural experience influence the creative insight and unique techniques that are my trademarks. It is neither simply about creating remarkable concepts, nor beautiful designs. It is also about solving problems. I do this through an intuitive ability to understand the needs of my clients and address them in an innovative and methodical way.

what motivated me to created Ardephwerk Design Agency ?

Through working with different agencies in Paris, I noticed that designers normally do not have direct contact with their clients. There is a hierarchical order in which the clients’ needs get lost in the process. I realized that I wanted to be more proactive in assessing the clients’ needs while meeting their goals.
When I initially proposed AUTHENTIC CONCEPTS along with a great marketing strategy, most of the times the agencies were too scared to offer this to the clients. They usually preferred to simply recycle or copy designs to finish the project early, putting the needs of the agency over the clients’ objectives. A lot of communication was lost between the client and the designer as a result of an overall lack of customer service, integrity, and sustainable practices. These are my core values and I was motivated to establish one-on-one relationships with people and companies, without intermediaries.

Why do I go by the nickname Wonder Woman :

This is actually a nickname given to me by a client. After experiencing my level of service-delivery, they were surprised and happy to have found an all-in-one Consultant. I was able to quickly adapt to their needs, from Marketing, Branding, Design, Web development, Coaching, and creating solutions to their problems.
They told me, and I quote: “You must be Wonder Woman because in all my years in business, I have never met anyone, nor experienced services like yours!”

Also, my friends often say to me that I am always smiling and happy. “We never see you sad.” I always reply: “No… that’s because I’m Wonder Woman!”
I feel that everyone has super powers. Fortunately, I know what mine are and I am not afraid to share them by helping others.
