I'am a french meteorologist, since 2001 with “METEO CONSULT” (first private company of services weather in France): development of forecast, briefings marine weather, followed storms, cartography of bad weather... to work on numericals models, charts isobaric, creation of algorithms of instability (storm…).
- Abstract of my work history from completion of my Masters Degree to now:
Since my studies in the geographia university, i spent several times as a teacher: as substitute teacher in secondary school, as temporary replacement at the university during my License, as well as as researcher assistant in my university (between 1990-1996).
I participate in rechearch projects about storm and flood in Normandy then in others areas in France.
After this "student" and university time, i had a role as teacher in geographia and hydrology in a specific and professional school (1996-2001).
But for me, teaching was not my real passion: that's the reason why i have join METEO CONSULT since 2001 as a forecaster, in a growth team. I worked particularly in the long range and seasonals forecasts and hydrology predict, and also for the medias.

Television: Realizer and presenter of the bulletin Regional “France-3-Normandy” weather of 1996 to 2003, and specific interviews on line of weather events outstanding (storms, snow, etc…).
At present: Forecaster, presenter and briefer on the French weather channel (“La Chaine météo”), the first national weather channel.
knowledge of the numericals models of forecasts weather: American model (AVN/GFS., models military aviation); English model (UKMO, Bracknell...); European model (ECMWF) and French model (Aladdin-Arpeggio of Weather-France).
Particular interest for the seasonal forecasts and the interpretation of the long-term numeric models.
Interest for the international geopolitics and the relation between the climatic chances, the economy and the energy.
Good knowledge of the world climate and especially European: weather solids competences of the forecast for Western Europe and the Mediterranean area.
Very good comprehension of the numericals models and their outputs. Good knowledge in data processing; able to work with new weather technologies.
Skill to make precise weather forecasting by correctly identifying the key atmospheric processes and significant weather information.
