Are you acting in the field of Health or Well-being?
Do you want to associate a positive image of your company to an innovative public health project?
I am now looking for partners interested in participating in the development of an educative and innovative game.
As an Industrial designer, I have created a board game during my master degree.
I already have the support of the research centre of Sheffield, the ADRC (the Art and Design Research Centre) giving me the opportunity to develop the project to a more advanced stage through doing a PhD. Different researchers in the field of Design and Health (specialized in obesity and in psychology changing) that I met at an earlier stage of the conception and the modeling of the game, would like to collaborate with me and will be able to provide support through the whole development of the project.
The concept of the game is twofold: making people from the youngest age more familiar with the importance of routinely exercise and eating well. Also, this awareness associated to a ludic aspect of a game aims to modify people’s behavior durably, and in concrete terms.
Very soon in France, advertisers and professionals of the audiovisual industry are going to sign the “Right Way of Living Plan” to tackle the problem of obesity in childhood. The question of obesity became a world’s public health issue and is epidemical in many countries. My contribution is social and public, but my approach is ludic.
In order to prevent better rather than to cure, I am developing the concept of the game towards Health and Education governmental partners, towards game industrial partners, the fast-food industry and socio virtual networks. The aim is to make this game accessible to the general public.
If you are interested by the above issues raised and feel you can provide help in the development of this project, any financial support, advice or relevant contacts would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to understand in more detail the way of developing the game and on its concept, please do not hesitate to contact me.
