21 years as an officer in the French army. This led me to various Command and Staff assignments in France and Germany, including commanding officer of a 400 man logistic unit. In the second part of my military career, I was assigned as an expert for Africa in Paris, and in French embassies in Burundi and Chad.
I retired and decided to start a second career as a consultant for security management. I worked for five years with EXXONMOBIL in Chad and then with AES Corp. in Cameroon. I performed security audits in Jordan, in Turkey, in Morocco...

2006 - 2006Senior Management Consultant, in support of AES SONEL – (American Energy Services-Société Nationale d’électricité) in Cameroon. Responsible for Conducting nationwide audits of Industrial and commercial security and for security program implementation & procedural development. Anti-Fraud operations throughout the country.
2001 - 2005ExxonMobil, Security Advisor in Chad for the Chad-Cameroon Development Project (ExxonMobil-Chevron-Petronas), through construction start and all development phases leading to production; serving up to 2750 expatriates, 4700 local employees, 250 wells, 180 km of pipeline construction. Developed security procedures and country evacuation plans.
