My on-line resumé: http://www.doyoubuzz.com/labas-romain

Following my chemical engineer’s degree, I decided to work in organic medicinal chemistry applied to the development of medical biotechnologies.

I joined a technological research organisation, the French Atomic Energy Commission and I worked as a PhD student on the synthesis of radioactive tracers for Positron Emission Tomography. Then I became research associate in a small business company. I was involved in a collaborative European project to design new synthetic gene delivery systems. The project aim was to make the proof of principle of an innovative gene therapeutic drug.

I am now working for an international medical- and life science-technology marketing consulting firm with a strong trend for innovation. This position allows me to use my scientific knowledge and combine it with market expertise to develop innovative projects with involvements that directly impact on human beings and society.
