I have a multi-disciplined background, ranging from recrutement to training and from restaurant management to event management. My last six years involved the sales and marketing development of a famous and traditional perfume house that doubles as a tourist attraction!
My in-depth knowledge of both the tourisme industry in the P.A.C.A region and the perfume world has given me the opportunity and desire to use this experience to promote these two areas overseas. Being english does help with the anglophone markets...!
There is a lot to develop in the sensorial world and certain tourism trends lead me to believe that what France does best, gastronomy and perfume products, must be exploited to the full.

2001 - 2006Traditional French perfume house since 1849. Production & sales of own-brand perfumes & home fragrances. Perfume house visited as tourist attraction (150.000 visiteors/an).
In charge of elaborating sales & marketing strategies for tourisme department and its promtion; annual turnover 4m €.
Developped original 5 senses workshop concept for Meeting Planner & Incentive markets & luxury groups. Hands-on workshops for creating own perfume, team-building games and training techniques through the senses. (5000 clients/yr, 250k€/yr)
Workshops also included wine-tasting, food-tasting, cookery lessons with top chefs - all related to tastes and scents.
Guided tour of factory in Grasse and museum in Nice.
Management of team of 10 hostesses and 3 sales assistants.

Set up a partner system « Club Élite Molinard » with local luxury hotels, limousine companies and private organisations.
Opened new export markets for our perfumes in UK (QVC TV), USA (Barney's, Sachs), Russia (Articoli).
1996 - 2001Event Management Company based in UK, but organising events on the French Riviera - Saint Tropez & Cannes.
Organisaing theme breaks (Pechiney Aluminium), Incentive breaks, weddings, luxury villa rentals, VIP events.
1994 - 1996Tropezina Beach Restaurant (partner with Hotel Chateau de la Messardiere 4*luxe).
In charge of relations with the hotel clientel, table reservations, private parties, wedding receptions, VIP events.
1992 - 1994Continous vocational training company, specialized in tourism and language training.
I taught English for business, tourism modules such as communication in tourism, reception work, quality in tourism etc.
I worked on European Training projets for the CEE.
1989 - 1991HVAC engineers recrutement consultancy.
I selected and recruted senior engineers for overseas contracts, mainly in the Middle East.
