Thibault Firmin
Ingénieur avionique, Aeroconseil
Just graduated from a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering I am looking for my first job in aeronautical maintenance sector.
During my studies, a 4 month internship at Cargolux enabled me to improve my aeronautical maintenance knowledge. Integrated with the group « structure » I experienced various aspects of aircraft maintenance, such as line maintenance, Airworthiness Directive, or parts modifications. I also designed repairs beyond SRM allowances and wrote work instructions for the floor. This internship provided me with the chance to discover the technical, regulatory and economical aspects of the aeronautical maintenance.
During a 6 month internship at Sagem DS, I was in charge of the implementation of the Lean Manufacturing for the Falcon 900 throttle production line in order to improve it flow and productivity. This internship was a great opportunity to improve my project management skills and my communication skills to sell the modifications at each manufactory departments.
Desirous to work as close as possible from the airplanes, I want to start my career in the maintenance sector since it is a concrete world where reactivity and human relations are important.
I am sure that my aeronautical knowledge, my specialization in technical project management as well as my experience from my previous internships and my passion for aeronautics wcould be an asset for an airline or a maintenance center.
In addition, I would be glad to provide you with more information by emails.
