Victoria Williams

I am an experienced teacher, with an excellent track record of success for my students. I have spent the past eight years building a career, from trainee student teacher to head of a department of 9 teachers. Having moved from London to Bordeaux, I have now boldly taken the next step of using my experience to set up my own company and work for myself.

As a person who has always been passionate about languages and interested in culture and travel, I found developing this side of my character very refreshing. Having retrained as an English Teacher to foreign students and passed the TESOL exam with the highest possible grade, I enjoyed preparing myself for this new venture.

I now manage a small team of English teachers in Bordeaux. Our criteria for selection is that the teacher must be a native English speaker (i.e. from the UK, Ireland, USA, Australia etc) and have relative qualifications and experience in teaching. Alongside my business teaching English, I am becoming an accomplised webdesigner and assist my french partner in his online Marketing Consultancy business, in which we offer online communication and promotions, as well as English-French/French-English translation. Together, we are also salsa teachers, which allows us to let off steam after our very long hours of work on our own projects and to introduce others to the music and dance that brings us so much happiness.
