Over 15 years of living in Africa have been giving me a non-paternalistic vision of development. Therefore, I’m extremely motivated to get involved with companies closely related to pragmatic and sustainable development.
I am now working as an intern at PROPARCO (Capital investment, private equity, project finance, micro finance division of French Development Agency). I did my first steps in the engineering department of major infrastructure companies (RATP, EGIS Highway engineering), then as organizational/strategic junior consultant for several institutions (Innovation strategy Geopost group, PREDIT transport research program, World Bank…).
I’m graduated from both University of Technology of Compiègne and Chalmers University of Technology (Göteborg, Sweden) in urban and transportation systems. In addition, I hold an advanced master in urban management, environmental services from ESSEC Business School.
Internship : I am responsible for project finance business - service infrastructure and mining:
• Contribution to the analysis of documents submitted by the developers and consultants (technical analysis, financial, legal etc ...);
• gathering information on companies and sectors;
• participation in education and contribution to the drafting of internal notes (proposal response, written submission to the PROPARCO Board of Directors);
• modeling financial projections (critical analysis of the projection assumptions, preparation of financial analysis, implementation of DST);
• participation in the selection of legal, technical, environmental consultants
• Support analysis of data or documents submitted by proponents during the finalization of negotiations and legal documentation.
General transport strategy and innovation benchmark, for several companies (including SNCF, RATP, GEOPOST, World Bank/ministry of transport of Tunisia, etc.) :
- World Bank / Tunisian Ministry of Transport(6 mois):
Best practices benchmark : technology and financial/institutionnal structure of transport strategy imroving energy efficiency.
Elaboration of a strategy at 5 / 10 and 15 years for Tunisia, (urban transports, rail investments, ...) and environmental assessment.
- PREDIT / SNCF Research program(3 months):
Freight train detection systems, ERMTS, train monitoring on liberalized markets.
- Groupe GEOPOST (3 mois):
Market watch / competitive intelligence reports on parcel logistics market.
Internship: senior project manager assistant., EGIS Route (Highway and railroad infrastructures consulting)
2007 - 2008- I managed the implementation of a GIS based on Oracle 10g and Bentley Microstation for several projects.
- I controlled consulting files of both Romanian and French highway safety systems/ emergency plans.
