Yannis Achour

Financial Analyst, Veolia Water

Sustainable development, project finance, engineering, transport infrastructure, public private partnerships, emerging economies...

... These areas of “expertise” are related to my background and my story:

Over 15 years of living in Africa have been giving me a non-paternalistic vision of development. Therefore, I’m extremely motivated to get involved with companies closely related to pragmatic and sustainable development.

I am now working as an intern at PROPARCO (Capital investment, private equity, project finance, micro finance division of French Development Agency). I did my first steps in the engineering department of major infrastructure companies (RATP, EGIS Highway engineering), then as organizational/strategic junior consultant for several institutions (Innovation strategy Geopost group, PREDIT transport research program, World Bank…).

I’m graduated from both University of Technology of Compiègne and Chalmers University of Technology (Göteborg, Sweden) in urban and transportation systems. In addition, I hold an advanced master in urban management, environmental services from ESSEC Business School.
