- First period : 5 to 10% line efficiency improvement.
- Second period : All deliveries done on time, during welding line start of production.
R&D MANAGER (Product, Process & Project)
Alunord plant, 43 M€ turnover - 30 persons managed.
Mission : Organize department, in order to meet plant ambition to have locally an autonomous R&D department.
• Securization of ongoing developments and improvement of simultaneous product and process conception.
• Setting of an efficient order intake process.
• Preparation to Iso TS 16949.
• Creation of binomial and referent person for each profession.
• Foundation of a core team able to manage department.
Results
- Autonomous department after one year.
- Iso TS certification with zero remark.
- 50% project cost decrease.
- ~200 M€ order intake in automotive industry.
2002 - 2004PLANT MANAGER - Fine blanking (2003-2004)
Production plant integrated in Essômes sur Marne plant - Workshop of ~40 persons, 20 M€ order intake.
Mission : Manage all plant activities, including sales.
• Business plan definition.
• Production management and follow-up.
• P&L reporting.
• Setting of sales actions.
Results
- 9 M€ order intake identified.
- Budget validated.
SALES MANAGER - Renault/Nissan (2002-2003)
Mission : Manage sales activities during business hold period.
Result
- Customer confidence kept despite crisis period.
1999 - 2002137 persons, 24 M€ turnover (full year effect).
Missions : Establish a production plant in Bursa, Turkey.
Pilot all plant activities, including sales and finance.
• Setting of infrastructure (wiring, compressor, electricity ...), organization definition and recruitment of 137 persons.
• 5 assembly lines designed and produced. 18 new products industrialized.
• Management and follow-up of production.
• Continuous improvement and QS 9000 quality system initiation.
• Activity transfer to a new plant and creation of a second entity.
• Sales actions definition, in order to diversify portfolio.
Results
- From 0 to 24 M€ turnover achieved.
- QS 9000 certification after only 9 months.
- Contracts signed with all major local manufacturers : Fiat, Ford and Toyota.
1997 - 1999Mission : Manage all activities regarding product/process simultaneous development, within QCDP targets of following projects : RENAULT L65 project - PSA V project - FIAT SCUDINO project.
Result
- All L65 projects have met their targets.
- Other projects were transfered due to my leaving for Turkey.
