Yves OPER, 49 years, graduate of the Institute of Political Studies of Grenoble and of the Faculty of Law, began his career in transport as pay and personnel manager.
In 1989, he joined BSN Danone group as director of human resources of the Royal Club Evian gathering the activities of the four-star Royal Hotel, the casino, the golf course and the "rencontres Musicales " of Evian with M. Rostropowicz. Within this framework and thanks to strong implication and the will to obtain significant results, he took part successfully in the opening of the four-star hotel Ermitage and its congress centre.
After this significant experience, he left the group in 1992 to create a company. Within the framework of the board of management activities, being based on its direction of the analysis and his aptitudes for the negotiation, he intervened on adjustment problems for working time, crisis management and more largely on "externalisation" of human resources functions of private and public organizations.
In 2002, he put an end to this activity to become games manager of the casino of Vals les Bains then General Director of the casino of Lons le Saunier. Yves OPER obtained the authorization and the renewal of authorization of exploitation of these two structures. The Casino of Vals les Bains will pass from 60 to 100 Slot Machines, the Casino of Lons le saunier will climb in 2006 from 89th to 85th in the national classification.
Yves OPER developed an expertise in the establishment and/or the externalisation of HR functions. He is able to identify the strategic and operational priorities of an organization, he knows the French legal obligations of a company, in particular on social matters. Today, he wishes to develop his experience of management and his knowledge of the hotel trade sector, casinos and more generally leisure services. He is waiting for a new challenge.
He can be described as “facilitator” and “organizer”, on the functional level as well as the operational level.
