Participation in the regional exploration for gold and base metals over two areas selected for the French Vietnamese co-operation in the Northern part of the country (Chiem Hoa and Ngan Son areas) using remote sensing selection and geochemical exploration by grids of soil samples. This exploration was carried out in teamwork with the personal of the Geological Survey of Viet Nàm.

In charge of the detailed follow-up of three gold geochemical anomalies (Mamoudouya, Kouroufing and Komé) in south of Kenieba in western Mali in the frame of the "Syndicat Or Mali" (BRGM - Malian government) by trenches, pits and geochemical grids of soil sampling. These anomalies were pointed out in the 1989 exploration.

Contribution to the second phase of the National Metalogenic Inventory over the northern part of the country (Merendon, Sierra Nombre de Dios, and Rio Tinto) using geological mapping at 1/250 000 and detailed studies of mineral occurrences.

Regional geochemical exploration for gold and base metals in the nyanzian formations of the Busia area (Eastern Uganda) in the frame of the French Ugandan protocol using stream sediment geochemistry and training two Ugandan geologists.
