  • Saint-Gobain Euroveder México - Industrialisation

    2009 - 2010 Industrialization engineer in Saint-Gobain Euroveder Mexico in Querétaro, Mexico (Fixed-term contract, 7 months).
    Plant producing refrigerator shelves made of glass and a plastic frame. Responsibilities:
    - Experimental studies of the modification to be done,
    - Industrialization of the production lines (drafting of specifications, follow-up of the supplier, validation)
    - Training of the operators on the new process,
    - Continuous improvement.
    In parallel patents were filed and new projects were developed.
  • Saint-Gobain Glass - Chef de projet pièces encapsulées

    Courbevoie 2008 - 2009 Project leader for encapsulated parts in Saint-Gobain Glass in Thourotte, France (Fixed-term contract, 16 months).
    Encapsulation is a plastic injection process, whose objective is to create a seal around a glass window for vehicles.
    As Project leader, I was in charge of the project in terms of quality, costs and timing:
    - Definition of the design of the part and its components,
    - Determination of the specifications of the components,
    - Injection mould development,
    - Management of the project team,
    - Organization of prototypes and serial production.
    Projects were developed in an international environment: U.S. and Mexican teams, suppliers in China, France and Mexico.

    2007 - 2007 Projet en laboratoire à la LTU (Luleå Tekniska Universitet, Suède) :
    Elaboration d’un composite élastomère recyclé-polyéthylène et mesure des propriétés mécaniques (essais de traction et observation au MEB) afin d’optimiser le rapport quantité d’élastomère/propriétés mécaniques.
