THe pre commissioning consist of a wide spread of test and operations to check the integrity of the equipment after installation and condition the lines for commissioning.
Scope of work:
Part of a project team under the project manager supervision the Pre commissioning engineer should:
Bid stage:
- develop methodology
- help setting the pre commissioning budget
- finalize technical qualifications with the client
- provide a planning of the activity
During the engineering stage:
- Send out sub contractor bid and perform technical review of the bidders
- Follow specific equipment fabrication (pig receiver...) from engineering to delivery
- Supervise subcontractor and reviewand approve procedures, interact with installation team
During offshore operation:
- Prepare mobilization, perform equipment test
- Supervise subcontractors
- Client point of contact
- installation point of contact
This position requires management skills, organization and autonomy.
