Searched and integrated new components with precise specifications. Based on new components the system was redesigned. Developed and improved a finite element model of a high-frequency borehole imager using Comsol and Matlab. Studied the electrical and electromagnetic properties in order to adjust the design of the tool and to select the optimal electromagnetic frequency for acquiring sensor information. Additional soil properties were added to the model to improve simulation accuracy. Conducted field tests on an early prototype in an artificial well in Meaux, France to estimate the validity of the model and realistic possibilities. Worked with a diverse R&D team with member of different cultures and backgrounds.

Programmed a microcontroller in LabVIEW to control positioning and data acquisition of an electromagnetism induction sensor for 3D multi-target sensing. Performed electromagnetic finite element modeling of the sensors with Ansys.
