Anne Goubier
Senior Director, Immunology, Genticel
I completed a PhD in Immunology and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, and I am currently working on the development of immunotherapeutic vaccines for HPV diseases.
Since my PhD thesis, I have chosen to take advantage of my dual trainings , in veterinary medicine and in Immunology, to work on the development of immunotherapeutics and immunoprophylactics through the understanding of host immune system-pathogens interactions. My carrier choices have been driven by this willing . In Merial I had the chance to lead both the immunology laboratory and the adjuvant and immunomodulators platform, developing my technical, scientific, managerial and communication skills and participating to in vaccines development, from research screening to scientific support of marketed products. My current employer, Genticel, is developing immunotherapeutic vaccines for human health based on a recombinant bacterial protein vectorisation vectorization platform. As the head of the immunology and molecular biology department, I have the opportunity to extend and dedicate my knowledge and skills to human therapeutic and prophylactic vaccines development
23 contactsLeading the immunology and biomolecular activity of Genticel, a company dedicated to HPV therapeutic cancer vaccine development. My function includes the management of a team of 4PhD, 2 Engineers and 2 technicians, participation to key decisions regarding new candidate selection and new immunisation scheme definition, support of business activity, support of immune response monitoring in clinical studies, providing key preclinical data for vaccine candidate currently in phase I.

Leading a team of dedicated experts aiming at anticipating strategic needs for Merial by identifying, evaluating and selecting new adjuvants and immunomodulators for the development of new biological products.
2007 - 2010the head of immunology laboratory is responsible for:

the evaluation of the immune response in veterinary species and in particular vaccine-induced immune response and pathogen-induced immunopathology in production and companion animals.
The acquisition of knowledge on the particularities of immunity and infectious diseases immunopathology in veterinary species and development of immunological tools dedicated to the monitoring of veterinary species immune response.
