CEA is one of the major research institute in France (more than 1600 patents, 100 spin-off technology companies) covering a wide field of innovation, notably renewable energies (electrical vehicles, solar energy, low-energy buildings, ...)
Within the technology transfer office, in collaboration with intellectual property and contracts associates, my job consists in advising researchers in the innovation challenges (technology transfer from labs to industry, start-up creations...) :
- identification of potential applications for an emerging concept
- connection with key industrial players for strategic partnerships
- evaluation of market opportunities for a new start-up
- promotion of new technologies portfolio
