2015 - 2015I did a ergonomic study to prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in dairy farming. I were working with a PhD student, Federica MASCI, and the director of ICRH, Dr Claudio COLOSIO. We were using an ergonomics software, Captiv ( developed by INRS and TEA), and the Strain Index table for make a risk assessment during the milking operation.
The aim of the study was:
- To define the milking tasks with higher risk of MSDs ( in particular caused by the flexion or the extension of the wrist)
- To transfer the Strain Index method in an ergonomics software, Captiv
- To see if other risk factors were in the field.
