Chhaya Saint-Ramon was born in Delhi, India in 1975. She is married and is a mother of a young boy. She has been living in Paris since 2003.
She studied at the north Campus of the Delhi University and received her degree as Bachelor of commerce (with Honours) in 1995 where her majors were Mathematics, Finance, Accounting and Economics .
She went on to complete her education with an executive masters degree in Business management from Ecole Superior de Commerce de Paris, France (ESCP-EAP) in 2007.
Chhaya’s career took on an international aspect when she left India in 1997 to work in Jordan. She went on to spend 5 years in Jordan, one year in Egypt and took on some projects in the UK. Having lived in Arabic cultures, Chhaya picked up a working knowledge in the Arabic language. She also has a diploma in German language from Goethe institute. Chhaya at present works in English, French and Hindi languages.
In all of her tenure abroad, Chhaya kept abreast of the Indian business scene with regular travels to India as well as working with local Indian companies on strategic missions. Hence, the majority of her work concerns French-Indian business relations.
Since 1999 she has worked with various multi-national companies in strategy and business development. The international exposure as well as her intrigue of different cultures led her to develop in 2005, her consulting activity in cross culture and diversity management.
Her work portfolio includes companies such as Manitou, Hutchinson, Oracle, Apec, Amadeus, Planet-Model.
Chhaya is an active member of professional and cultural organisations such as European Professional Women’s Network (EPWN), The Euro-India centre, The Indian Professional Association and the Alumni Association of Sup de Co, Paris. She has worked as a voluntary member for associations in the help of Sudanese refugees and handicap children.
