Mon métier : Prévoir et modéliser l'exploitation de gisements afin de garantir l'alimentation d'usines tant en qualité et qu'en quantité.
Je maîtrise toutes les étapes de l'exploitation d'un gisement depuis la prospection jusqu’au réaménagement du site.
J'ai une expérience de toutes les étapes de l'exploration et de l'exploitation de matériau tant en Europe qu'en Afrique ou au Moyen Orient:
- Prospection de nouveaux gisements, cartographie de terrain et suivi de forages.
- Modélisation de gisements et de leur exploitation.
- Gestion de la partie technique (géologie, hydrogéologie, exploitation) des dossiers d’ouverture ou d’extension de carrière.
- Audit de sites miniers, évaluation des réserves et de l’exploitation.
- Gestion foncière (cadastre et limites d’exploitation) par SIG (Systèmes d’Information Géographique).
- Gestion d'un site de production (jusqu'à 16 000 t/jour)

    2013 - 2014 · The job objective of the Quarry Manager is to produce the quantity of limestone and scale required by production Department respecting the quality and the cost per ton.

    · Analyses production reports and daily log sheet in order to improve the efficiency of the Quarry

    · Analyzes the results performance of quarry operations (time spent to perform the jobs, frequency of the job, m3 moved, explosives and other consumables /ton or m3) in order to propose ways for optimizing the efficiency

    · Controls the respect of safety rules by his subordinates and the cleaning conditions of the areas under his responsibility

    · Coordinate the utilization and stock levels of explosives and other consumables

    · Guide and train the Quarry Supervisor on all Quarry activities (drilling, blasting, hauling, crushing, conveying and storing)

    · To assist Production Manager on preparation of annual revenue and capital budget and control running expenses

    · To advise Management on the refurbishment and replacement of the Quarry mobile plants and equipments

    · To control the supply of explosives and other consumables/materials and control the proper usage of the Magazine stores

    · Organizes & supervises the development of mining plan

    · Identify the reclaimed areas to restore and control the progress of restoration job
  • Lafarge Cairo Technical Center - Sub Sahara Exploration Team Leader

    2009 - 2012 o Managed the company’s exploration in Sub Sahara Africa.
    o Managed several projects (budget 1-2M€ each)
    o Developed and managed geologists and drillers teams (up to 15 people) in several BU.
  • Lafarge Cement TCEA - Geological Engineer

    2006 - 2009 Managed the quarries development in Lafarge Western Africa (Benin, Nigeria, and Cameroon):
    o Exploration of extensions and new deposits.
    o Assistance to exploitation (mining plans creation)
    o Managed hydrological studies and develop know-how in geology and hydrology in local BU team.

    1998 - 2006 Omya AG is an international white minerals company supplying high quality calcium carbonates and talc. The Company's major markets include paper, plastics, rubber, coatings, adhesives, building products and agriculture.

    In charge of company’s quarries and mines in France and Spain. Total annual production: 4.3 Mt.

    o Explored industrial minerals deposits mainly in France and Spain. Managed geological and topographical surveys.

    o Facilitated the Omya’s Orgon deposit extension fast renewal. Presented the technical aspects of the project. The project was favorably welcome by local residents as well as government representatives. This significantly improved Omya group brand image.
  • Université Pierre et Marie Curie (PARIS 6) - Computer Technician

    1997 - 1998 I choose this job to enlarge my experience and know-how about computing and computerized models creation.

    o Created several databases, managed data to publish a range of maps describing global environment changes over geological times.
    o Managed sedimentology laboratories IT systems (about 100 users).
