Involved in the whole process of designing a new or refurbished building , my role consists in looking after energy and environmental aspects at each stage of major projects :
- Assisting our clients, airport terminal owners, prepare investment approval requests and define energy and environmental specifications and objectives.
- Guiding the “prime contractor” team at each step of the design process in order to choose energy and environment efficient solutions.
I am developing strong knowledge and understanding on low energy buildings. My role involves benchmarking and suggesting innovative solutions, as well as evaluating their profitability and environmental impact.
2008 - 2010- Building Energy Certification Services and Air Conditioning System Inspections (Directive 2002/91/EC - European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive) – Project Manager: Implementation of services; Ongoing support for delivery.
- Energy Contracts Internal and External Reporting: Mapped existing processes and gave suggestions for improvement; Worked on new tools development; Assisted with production of performance dashboards and identified improvements through use of tools and reports.
- Site Survey and Energy Reporting: Visited Sites (Commercial and Industry & Healthcare sectors); Assisted with production of Energy Reports.
- Project Coordination: Building Energy Efficiency Program - Greater London Authority, as part of the global Climate Positive Development Program; Automated meters installation
2007 - 2007Worked on energy technologies development in Beijing municipality:
- Worked on Beijing energy mix assessment
- Identified three priority technologies: Solar Water Heating Systems, Geothermal Energy and Municipal Solid Water Incineration
- Gave estimation of costs and energy savings of these clean energy sources development
- Identified possible obstacles to the development of these clean energy sources
- Proposed policy measures for the overcoming of the project barriers.
2006 - 2006- Performed a study to verify whether it is cost effective and technologically practical to install one or more wind turbines at one of TOTAL E&P UK sites gas terminal for electricity generation
- Supervised the work of two consultant companies
