My role in the organisation is to help:
- coordinate web sites implementations in our production environment for advisory accounts (mainly airlines and corporations)
- manage/coordinate technical stack and production infrastructure evolutions
- ensure performance quality of the applications

My team is in charge of maintaining an e-Commerce production environment supporting more than 150 millions of unique visitors per month.
Our main tasks are:
- to implement production infrastructures for major customer web sites (mainly major airline companies),
- to make the technical stack (OS, JVM, web/app/db servers) evolve towards the latest standards (including security standards like PCI DSS),
- to provide expertise support on major production issues.

Product definition and analysis:
- Analyze user requirements for development of new or improvement of existing software solutions,
- Elaborate functional specifications,
- perform feasibility studies.
Design and development:
- Design technical solutions and propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation,
- Model, design and implement databases as necessary,
- Develop software according to company standards,
- Conduct unit, package tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the company guidelines.
