2006 - 2007

I undertook an assignment in Mumbai as an expatriate : 1st to smooth the relationships between France & India and to bridge the cultural gap 2nd to increase the business between the 2 countries. I was far more or less focusing on Renault applications because it was our biggest client in France but we have now widened our customer portfolio with sizeable business for our other big clients like France Telecom.

My role could be split in 2 aspects 1st to train everybody either France or India so that they meet half way. So, on India side, I "taught" the French way of working and what can be France expectations. On the other hand, I tried to adjust the level of information coming from France because French people don't work in an anglo-saxon way that means they don't specify clearly their requirements, they don't give a full visibility though they claim for a high flexibility. This is achievable through the deployment of standard processes that should avoid all kind of discrepancies.

2005 - 2006

Beginning 2005, Renault outsourced its whole IT activities to Atos Origin.

As part of this huge contract (GPA = Gestion du Parc Applicatif), I was Project Director of a domain handling the enterprise product repository. This was really exciting as this domain is a highly strategic domain for Renault because it is at the crossroad of the four main operational activities of Renault : engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and trading.

I managed a team of 20 people taking care of 10 applications
