My position: Assist account managers create customer loyalty and develop businesses by providing to network operators the in-depth technical consulting and end-to-end solutions/technologies/products information that may influence the requirements for the transformation of their legacy networks or for the creation of green field networks or new services.
Main responsibilities include
• Providing consultancy on end-to-end network solutions architectures (IPTV, VOIP, HSI, VOD, …), technologies (IP, MPLS, IMS, GSM, UMTS, …) and products (IP routers, Optical switches, MGC, MGW, …),
• Animating technical workshops on customers’ networks requirements or issues,
• Organizing lab visits for the customers,
• Analyzing customers’ business requirements or networks evolution needs,
• Driving accounts opportunities for new services/networks roll-out (in-depth and high-level technical presentations, solutions designs and presentations, RFI/RFQ/bid technical responses documentation, …).
2002 - 2006Lead pre-sales and post-sales technical support team. The responsibilities include management activities (30%) and technical support activities (70%).

• Main pre-sales tasks:
o Tender support (network high-level design and products/features/releases selection validation, implementation procedures and test strategies design/quoting, operation procedures design/quoting, etc.),
o Network ‘feature acceptance/field trial/type approval/customer qualification’ test plan design and execution follow-up, test results analysis and defects tracking/reporting,
o Customer demonstrations and visits management,
o Field technicians training on new products features and implantation procedures.
• Main post-sales tasks:
o Network management systems install/upgrade plans, procedures and commissioning test plans design and execution follow-up, install/upgrade commissioning test results analysis and defects tracking/reporting,
o Network migration/upgrade plans, procedures and test plans design and execution follow-up, migration/upgrade test results analysis and defects tracking/reporting,
o Network audit plans and procedures design and execution follow-up, audit results analysis and reports validation,
o Network trouble tickets management.
1998 - 2002Create a technical consulting unit to implement technical consulting and network operations services targetting the new entrants into telecom market. Main responsibilities included:
• Analysing new entrants technical misses and needs and, designing consulting and network operations services matching those misses and needs,
• Designing the trainings and certification process and levels needed to implement those services,
• Staffing and training the services implementation personnel,
• Deploying the business.
