  • Galderma - Packaging Development Specialist

    Courbevoie 2007 - 2013 Packaging development (bottles, airless, applicators, tubes),
    team work with R&D, Marketing, Methods etc. for global
    projects (US, Japan, Europe).

    - Technical development of the first OTC product Galderma France (400 k units sold in year one) ;
    - Solving quality problems (customer complaints) :
    - broken tube : 100 M$ product turnover (result : from 100 complaints in 6 months to none). ;
    - complex system generating 350 complaints a year (result: claims divided by 15). ;
    - Product developed in airless bottle (Life Cycle Management): in charge of project management and
    of packaging qualification (for production in Canada). Development budget: $ 1M. Result: sales
    support in the U.S. ($ 150 million) with packaging considered by customers as an asset.
    - Validation of a child resistant tube, the first in the world for this market category (Previous sales:
    200 M$).
    - Implementation and animation of value analysis methodology. Filing of a patent in this context. ;
    - Development of a customized syringe. ;
    - Creation of a guideline to qualify new packaging and packaging development process.
    - Implementation of the risk analysis for development projects at Galderma.

  • Pierre Fabre Medicament - Packaging Engineer

    Castres 2002 - 2007 Pharmaceutical and cosmetics

    Packaging development for bottles, tubes, folding boxes. Value
    analysis for key products.

    - Implementation and animation of value analysis methodology at Pierre Fabre (several projects with
    a major one for mouthwashes). Example of result: change Eludril goblet (Gains: 80k EUR savings per
    year).
    - Development of an innovative extemporaneous cap (patented and commercialized).
    - Many development projects for five industrial sites with drivers like economic cost savings, safety
    or quality improvements.

  • OM Group - Packaging Engineer

    1997 - 2002 Development and implementation of drums and IBCs.
    Corrective and preventive action plans for packaging.

    - Qualification of drums and IBC for ultra-pure products (HNO3, H2SO4, HF ...).
    - Responsible for the validation of returnable packaging for the transport of hazardous materials by
    road, air and sea.
    - Resolution of quality issues (Application of Top's 8D methodology).
