  • STMicroelectronics - Sharepoint program manager

    2008 - maintenant In August 2008, STMicroelectronics and Ericsson announced an agreement to merge ST-NXP Wireless and Ericsson Mobile Platforms (EMP) into a joint venture. STMicroelectronics, the parent company of ST-NXP Wireless, was designated to be the IT service provider of the new company.
    With this merge was launched the Sharepoint intranet project based on MOSS 2007.

    In September 2010, in light of the successful deployment of Sharepoint in ST-Ericsson, the Corporate Internal Communication group of STMicroelectronics decided to sponsor a similar project for STM employees.

    Assigned roles & duties in both contexts:

    Intranet Project Manager
    o Participation to the intranet strategy and tactical stages definition.
    o Requests for proposals preparation, evaluation and selection of external companies.
    o Creation and fine tuning of the business requirements gathering process (from the content inventory & analysis to the prototype implementation), both for publication and collaboration functionalities.
    o Instantiation of this process with a selection of business divisions and central organizations.
    o Contribution to the content management systems evaluation - re-use of parent companies solutions vs. new commercial or open source solution, resulting to the selection of Microsoft Office Sharepoint Services (MOSS) – ST-Ericsson project only.
    o Project Management (using Prince2 methodology).
    o Member of the governance stream: definition of the editorial policies, groups and permissions, scope of each intranet platforms, technical governance, guidelines.

    Functional and Technical Architect
    o Delivery of the architecture engagement, including: MOSS components and required add-ons identified at business requirements gathering stage, intranet applications integration (e.g. MOSS integration with existing document management systems, human resources services, web service framework for Nintex add-on used with complex workflows, etc.).
    o Preparation of the work packages for the various technical groups: network, system, development pools.
    o Supervision of the deliverables, testing coordination with end-users community.
    o Definition of users attributes & groups definition (profiling/identify management).

    Service Delivery Manager
    o Management of the infrastructure and MOSS platforms services provider (Orange Business Services or OBS)
    o Definition of incident, change management, release to production/roll-out processes to accommodate STMicroelectronics, OBS and ST-Ericsson existing Operations & Support models and constraints.
    o Capacity management.
    o Negotiation of operational and service level agreements.
  • STMicroelectronics - Integration Competence Center Manager

    2005 - 2008 • Manage B2B, EDI & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) administration and support teams (locations: India/New Delhi and France), lead systems and infrastructure projects & change requests, define solutions architecture (using Prince 2 & AIF architecture framework from Cap Gemini).

    • Define support process, helpdesk & change management categories/items (deployed with remedy tool), OLA with the infrastructure Supplier and SLA with Customers.
