This position falls within Marsh Global Finance strategy established in 2009 to form an Advisory department within the Financial Systems group to partner with the various finance functions and to help Marsh Finance enhance the operating effectiveness of the finance and operations functions by assisting them as they shift their emphasis from transaction-level control, processing and reporting to more value driven, decision support and analytics. The position includes responsibilities such as:
•Finance Strategy mapping within Financial Systems (Vision, Mission, Guiding Principles)
•Financial Systems Landscape definition/optimization (Oracle eBusiness Suite, EPM/BI, etc…).
•Business Process Reengineering to allow financial systems being an enabler for Marsh Finance Transformation program
•Oracle eBusiness Suite Release 12 Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and business case elaboration
•Vendor Relationship Management (Oracle, 170 Systems, consulting partners)
•Internal Stakeholder’s management.

Team: 10 FTE colleagues located across the various continents
Geographical Coverage: 80+ locations within North America, Europe, Middle-East & Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific
Technical environment: Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i10, Oracle/Hyperion EPM Release 11 and Business Intelligence OBIEE 10g

This position falls within the Marsh Finance Transformation program initiated in 2008 to implement a best-in-class finance function within Marsh. An IT enablement workstream was one of the recommendations made by the steering committee to realize the objectives and savings identified by the finance transformation program. The position includes responsibilities such as:

•Assist global program manager with business case and RFP processes for EPM/BI implementation workstream
•Organize and Conduct requirement gathering sessions with consulting partner to define scope and objectives of the program.
•Establish an Enterprise Data Management / Reference Data Management (MDM) program.
•Design and Implement a Financial Reporting Strategy to cover both internal (Performance Management) and external reporting (Local GAAP and US GAAP) requirements.
•Implement a financial consolidation system to streamline the close process.
•Implement a planning and forecasting application to support monthly forecasting and annual planning cycles
•Implement a Change Management program (communication and training strategy) to support the EPM/BI program across 5 continents and successfully deploy the solution to 500+ users.

Team: 20 FTE colleagues (including consultants) located across the various continents
Geographical Coverage: 80+ locations within North America, Europe, Middle-East & Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific
Technical environment: Oracle/Hyperion EPM (Release 11)/ BI solutions: Data Relationship Management (DRM), Hyperion FDQM, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE+)

This position falls within the Marsh European Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation program which consists of implementing the corporate ERP solution across the major countries in Europe through a Shared Service implementation model. The position includes responsibilities such as:

• Assist program manager with business case feasibility analysis
• Lead Business Process mapping & reengineering workstream for Procure to Pay (P2P) and Record to Report (R2R) flows including activity mapping, role & responsibilities definition, opportunity analysis for on-shoring/off-shoring, etc…
• Coordinate with consulting partners to ensure compliance with local GAAP requirements
• Establish a specific implementation methodology leveraging AIM to meet program specific requirements
• Lead functional team throughout the various phases of the implementation
• Implement a Change Management program (communication and training strategy) to support the program and successfully deploy the solution to 300+ users.

Team: 25 FTE colleagues (including consultants) primarily located in United Kingdom
Geographical Coverage: 20countries including United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, Hungary (Shared Service Centre), Greece, Netherlands, Romania, Israel
Technical environment: Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials version 11i10: General Ledger, Account Payables, i-Expenses, Account Receivables, Global Accounting Engine (aka AX), Cash Management, Oracle Assets, Oracle Discoverer, 170 Systems (invoice imaging and workflow solution)

This position falls within the initial Marsh European Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation program which consists of implementing the corporate ERP solution across the major countries in Europe through a standard local implementation model. The position includes responsibilities such as:

• Lead requirements gathering session with stakeholders
• Document “As-Is” and “To-Be” processes as well as gap analysis
• Lead ERP implementation (Oracle General Ledger, Account Payables (with Oracle AX), i-Expense and Cash Management) according to Marsh International standards
• Implementing the various localizations (when applicable)
• Design interfaces with upstream/downstream applications (Revenue, Payroll, Payments, etc…)
• Design and lead data conversion from legacy systems
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
• Post Production support
