Start-up of the yield activity: definition and set-ups of yield indicators to study the performances and profitability of the production line.
Responsability covering the whole process: silicon feedstock selection, ingot casting, wafering, solar cells.
Set-up of the yield data collection and automatic reporting systems. Implementation of methodologies used for technical problems solving
Troubleshooting root cause of product performance excursions in a timely manner. Statistical analysis of solar cell performances.
Work with cross functional teams to solve technical process and defects issues during the qualification of a new technology. Responsible for process changes validation.
Location: Montpellier - France at IRYSolar/SEMCO
Management of the pilot production of solar cells: 5000cells/week, 6 process steps, team of 10 technicians and operators
Transfer of technology and know-how from the R&D site in Berlin, Germany to the pilot production site in Montpellier, France
Implementation of statistical process control (SPC) and control of metrology equipments.
Installation of a PECVD reactor for SiN anti reflection coating deposition on solar cells.
Creation of recipes, definition of specs and systematic metrology control.
Tool evaluation for the production site: PECVD reactors and diffusion furnaces
