• Renault Nissan Technology & Business Center India - Engine Design & Development Manager

  2011 - maintenant Responsible for engine parts development with Thailand, Indian and Chinese suppliers for a new Renault-Nissan diesel engine manufactured in Thailand and France: air intake, camshaft housing, oil pan, injectors, pistons, rings.
  − Established the organization, scheduled and led the project activities between Renault France, Renault-Nissan India, Nissan Thailand and the suppliers.
  − Defined and managed the resources, engine tests and budget needed to achieve the project targets.
  − Conducted the suppliers product and process definition and optimization during all the project phases: request for quotation, conception (CATIA), BOM, tooling launch and making, process implementation, product validation and manufacturing approval.
  − Provided recovery plans and leadership for the resolution of the quality, cost and planning issues, including failures during engines or components tests.
  − Monitored and reported the development advancement during the project milestones.
  − Trained the suppliers to comply with the Renault-Nissan quality system, based on ISO/TS 16949, including design and process FMEA.

  − Planned and implemented the department mid and long term strategy, including future projects, recruitment plan and competency ramp-up.

• Renault - Engine Parts Design & Development Manager

  Boulogne-Billancourt 2008 - 2011 Responsible for the development of parts for Renault-Nissan diesel engines: dual and single stage turbocharger, timing system, upper engine and exhaust gas recirculation system.
  − Developed innovative and complex engine parts with European suppliers, from request for quotation to manufacturing approval, including technical, cost and planning crisis management.
  − Ensured the engine compatibility with Renault Samsung Motors vehicles (South Korea).

• Renault - Technical Expert - Exhaust Gas Recirculation

  Boulogne-Billancourt 2003 - 2007 Responsible for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system components: gas cooler, electronic throttle control and EGR valve.
  − Defined the company technical guidelines: system architecture, materials, sensors technologies, components control (ECU software).
  − Patented two new EGR systems.

• Renault - Research Engineer - Industrial PhD

  Boulogne-Billancourt 2000 - 2003 Conceived innovative electromechanical actuators for a robotized gearbox
  − Designed, simulated and optimized linear and rotary electrical motors.
  − Developed and characterized a gearbox system prototype.
  − Filed 10 patents.

• Renault - Research Engineer trainee

  Boulogne-Billancourt 1998 - 1999 Designed a control system for a common–rail piezoelectric injector. Specified, designed and tested the power electronics system and filed 3 patents.

• Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (C.N.E.S.) - Project Coordinator trainee

  Paris 1998 - 1998 Designed and implemented a new electrical network for the satellites power supply in the “Ariane 4” rocket launch pad.
