- Decide on a regular basis in collaboration with the Supply Chain Managers on one side and the offer marketing on the other side what must be forecasted with collaborative approach (Critical families of products)
- Analyze & adjust the demand history for each family focusing on the critical ones
- Manage and update the forecast master data
Select the best statistical forecast methodology for each product family and propose the resulting forecast based on the adjusted history
Conduct monthly forecast reviews with the offer marketing and finance: Collect, consolidate and challenge the inputs (strategic and tactical Marketing information and Product Life Cycle/Roadmap information) to adjust consequently the statistical forecast
Propose the forecast, with the document assumptions linked, at an aggregated level (level used for the collaboration) for validation of the country management
Release the validated forecast and document assumptions at the reference level to feed the Distribution Requirement planning
Measure the forecast accuracy and drive the continuous improvement of the forecast
