En résumé

Longtemps passionné par la conception de produits, j'ai été particulèrement intéressé par le prototypage virtuel qui permet, avec l'aide de logiciels de simulation, de prédire les performances avant la création d'un prototype physique. Durant mes études, j'ai eu l'opportunité de développer mes compétences dans la simulation numérique, m'amenant ainsi à poursuivre une thèse industrielle (CIFRE) dans l'optimisation des structures, branche de l'ingénierie qui utilise des méthodes mathématiques d'optimisation afin de résoudre des problèmes de conception.

Aujourd'hui, l'optimisation des structures est un outil essentiel dans l'amélioration de la conception d'un produit. Je crois qu'il s'agit d'un composant clé pour une entreprise de par sa capacité à réduire le temps et les coûts d'étude d'un produit et cela à qualité supérieure. Par ailleurs, je suis convaincu qu'une vision d'avenir forte sur les avancées scientifiques et techniques est une qualité essentielle pour tout directeur de projet R&D, parallèlement à des compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles afin d'innover et de développer de nouvelles technologies.

Durant mon doctorat, j'ai réalisé que j'aimerais être spécialisé dans la gestion de projet de recherche dans l'optimisation de la modélisation et de la simulation numérique. En effet, construire des projets dans le but de développer ou d'introduire de nouveaux outils ou méthodes de conception avec des collaborateurs internationaux est un enjeu de taille à ma soif d'entreprenariat.

    I carried out a PhD in Design Optimization in collaboration with the University of Technology of Compiègne within 50 months and entitled, "Shape Optimization with automatic parameters detection"​. During this project, I have been able to bring an innovative approach to shape optimization with 3D sheet meshed surfaces in order to satisfy the main client Renault.

  • LMS International - Assistant Ingénieur de Recherche

    Paris 2010 - 2011 SAMTECH group is strongly implied in numerous projects and with numerous partners linked to the European pole of competency in high performance for numerical simulation.
    I worked 6 months as a R&D Engineer Assistant on the multi-criteria optimization of a composite panel. This project was part of the european research project MAAXIMUS in order to reduce by 10% the non-recurring cost of aircraft composite structures from preliminary design up to full-scale test.

    Plaisir 2008 - 2009 Zodiac Seats France is one of the world leaders in the airline industry with a long history in the manufacturing of aircraft passenger seats that meets the need of airline companies, OEM and helicopters manufacturers.
    I worked 6 months as an Assistant Design Engineer on the project of a crew seat design in response of the Airbus A350XWB call for bids at Zodiac Seats France (previously called Sicma Aero Seat).

    - Collect, analyse and summarize the technical specifications for the A350XWB crew seats design
    - Design with CAD (Computer Aided Design) a crew seat fulfilling Airbus specifications
