Filip Bruynooghe
International HR Manager, Groupe Beaumanoir
When asked in interviews to summarize myself in 3 words I tend to reply: international, HR, Belgian.
Having grown-up, lived and worked in various countries in Europe, Asia & North America and add all my travels, one can truly say that I am as international as can get. Living and working in many cultures has broadened my horizons and has helped me in achieving my objectives.
HR, to me is not just a job but a passion. For me a company's strength comes from its employees and HR is a business partner in the success of the company.
Belgians may best known for their chocolates but they are also rigorous, disciplined and always try to find the middle ground through compromise. Thus achieving a win-win for all parties. Though I can adapt to my surroundings I continue to rely on my basic values, which have served me well to this day.
