• Drive the French Accounting & Controlling team +Malagasy accounting team
• Liaison with auditors for audit, bank, insurance, attorneys (for statutory statement and legal issues)
• Provides local and international (IFRS) Financial Statements and reporting
• Prepare Forecasts and Budgets and pilot the actual to reach the targets
• Lead initiatives to improve financial performance : cost reduction, rise the profit, increase the cash flow, improvement of the working capital
• Pro-actively identify strengths weaknesses opportunities risks and works on identifying sources of better performance
• Establish internal policies and drive Internal controls (e.g. expenses, investment, travel…)
• Assets management (CAPEX)
• Payroll bookings & control, Reconciliation of Accounts
• Takes care of various fiscal / duty / legal declarations
• Tax optimizations
• Works on specific projects i.e closing production, acquisition of entities ; merger ; tax audit; implementation SAP; Integration of company within Symrise Group in terms of financial standards (monthly consolidation of 3 entities)
