    PARIS 2000 - 2002 • Barclays Capital Graduate IT Training Program in an intensive Investment Banking environment
    • Ten months ‘front-line support – Market Data’ with nine team members providing technical support for trading systems
    • Exposure to many electronic trading and e-commerce systems - Reuters and Bloomberg included
    • Out of hour’s roll outs of application upgrades - through close teamwork
    • Directly responsible for successful installation of Spanish ‘debt auction’ system using X.25
    • Personally created a File Transfer Program using Visual Basic 6.0. Tool is now an integral piece in the link between Barclays research publishing and Bloomberg’s system
    • Created Market Data Intranet site. Created Graduate Programme web site - out of hours
    • Ten months within the infrastructure team ‘Saturn’, performing in-house reviews
    • Initiative directly sponsored by CIO’s to highlight and resolve problems in large financial systems
    • Reported to and worked alongside associate director
    • Personally created database system using Access 2000 and VBA to track and monitor on-going issues
    • Created the ‘Saturn Web Site’ to host support documentation
