I started my career in education over 20 years ago at Boston University as a scared 22-year-old Master's student with a teaching fellowship. I taught first-year French to students just a few years younger than I was.
In the meantime, I moved to France, taught English and coached business skills in the corporate world for seven years, did a Master's at the Grenoble School of Management, and began teaching at the university level. I have taught English as well as content courses in English, such as Cultural Differences at the Grenoble INP, and Political Marketing and English for Political and Institutional Communication at Sciences Po Grenoble. I also worked in instructional design as a member of the Innovalangues project at the Université Stendhal.
In 2015 I did the CAPES and taught for a year in a middle school. In September 2016, I began working at the IAE of the Université Savoie Mont Blanc in Chambéry, where I teach English to students studying hospitality, tourism, events management and international management.
President of the Association France Etats-Unis Grenoble, I've also been recently elected Chair of Democrats Abroad Rhone-Alps.
Last but certainly not least, I am a runner, and have completed four marathons and several other races to raise funds for the ALS Association.
