Platform hardware baseband design manager and system expert:
- Leading a team of baseband engineers in the Platform Technolgy division
- In charge of 3G and 3.5G mobile phone baseband platform design on 3 platforms: ARM11, SC140, SC3400, GSM, 3G, HSDPA, DDR SDRAM, NAND Flash, Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS, USB, graphics processor, display, imagers, NFC.
- Leading platform baseband HW V-Cycle: platform requirements and architecture analysis, baseband HW electrical design, component selection, cost optimization, HW system validation, current drain reduction, and HW/SW integration with SW teams.
- Driving suppliers and 3rd parties for component selection, IC system validation, IC qualification, HW/HW integration and low-level HW/SW integration.
- Responsible for product change management, platform delivery, on-site training and technical support to the various phone HW integration teams (US, Europe, Asia).
- Now leading electrical design, validation, HW integration, certification and productization of a 3.5G product.
