J’occupe actuellement un poste de Chef de Projet dans le secteur aéronautique, et suis responsable de la Qualité, Coûts, Délais, & Performance de 3 portefeuilles de projets (CA 8,5 M€ par an, 120 ETP), dont un projet transnational concernant l’intégration de systèmes propulsifs pour le compte d’AIRBUS.

Je suis de retour en France après 3,5 d’expatriation dans un groupe international d’ingénierie pour lequel j’ai créé au Maroc un département simulation puis un bureau d’études mécaniques Produit / Process.
J'y assurais notamment le management d'une équipe de 380 ingénieurs et techniciens en mécanique sur des projets au forfait dans les secteurs automobile et aérospatial.

    Vélizy-Villacoublay 2018 - maintenant As a Senior Project Manager, accountable for the Quality, Cost, Delay and Performance of 3 different portfolio of projects (9M€/year, 120 HC), including a major transnational bundle project related to powerplant integration for AIRBUS.
    • Managed & coached 7 project managers.
    • Defined objectives and monitored performance according to the budget
    • Renewed and secured related monitoring tools
    • Homogenised production processes on the 3 portfolios:
    o Quality control & measurement policy, KPI,
    o Competencies management
    • Launched and supervised recovery plans on critical projects
    Main results: Major projects have been compliant with 2019 forecast & objectives and critical projects have regularly improved their profitability.
  • ALTRAN Maroc - Mechanical Engineering Director

    2017 - 2018 As the Mechanical Engineering director, responsible for running successful operation of a near-shore engineering office with a 380+ headcount (Product & Process development, CAD, CAE).
    A member of the Altran Morocco management board.
    * Set out the internal organization and the building blocks that enable to reach out the objectives of growth, quality and skills of the Technical Direction
    * Recruited additional management staff (team managers, team leaders, specialists), and their daily management.
    * Regularly assessed the team and assigned individual objectives.
    * Defined relevant training plans and the associated budget.
    * Developed and managed an effective network of sub tiers.
    * Organized and followed up the effectiveness of an annual workload transfer plan from Altran France to Altran Morocco.
    Main results: The Altran Morocco Mechanical Engineering Direction had been successfully created and transferred to a Moroccan representative.
  • ALTRAN Maroc - Head of CAE Department

    2015 - 2017 As the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) department founder & manager, responsible for defining and industrializing best practices that enable the successful operation of a near-shore engineering office with a 100+ headcount. A member of the Altran Morocco management board.
    * Recruited 100+ staff within 2.5 years (Engineers, technicians, team leaders, specialists), and their daily management.
    * Coached and personally trained 6 newly recruited young team leaders, now fully autonomous.
    * Regularly assessed the team and assigned individual objectives.
    * Defined relevant training plans and the associated budget, with more than 250 different technical competences related to simulation, crash, noise & vibrations, stress analysis, durability, fatigue, heat transfers, aerodynamics and CFD.
    * Drafted the internal and external workflow processes and deployed steering and reporting tools: On time delivery ratio improved from 30% to 95% in 4 months.
    * Instituted all check lists, quality gates and KPI's: First Time Right and On Time Delivery are permanently 95%.
    Main results: The Altran Morocco CAE department has grown from scratch to over 110 staff in the automotive & aerospace fields within 2.5 years and is able to ensure delivery to specification, quality standards, within budget and on time.

    Responsible for industrialization of best practices regarding fixed price activities: pre-sales office, scientific computing licences.
  • Altran France - Head of Mechanical Engineering Department

    Vélizy-Villacoublay 2006 - 2013 As the Design & Stress Departmental budget holder, responsible for the creation and delivery of the business plans, international business development and local commercial relationship management, technical proposals, Work Package delivery, recruitment & team management, and best practice intelligence development.
    * Prepared 80 financial and technical quotes a year over 2010 to 2012 to support the commercial teams, across France and Europe, successfully referenced into 5 key accounts suppliers lists..
    * Directing 20 on-going fixed price multi-sector projects (aerospace, rail, defence), to ensure completion to specification, quality standards, on time and to budget to the value of turnover 3.5M EUR .
    * Recruited 50 staff and manage 40 mechanical engineers and technicians.
  • REALIX TECHNOLOGIES - Mechanical Engineer

    2004 - 2006 To examine the impact of vibrations on newly developed plane engines for the SNECMA account using Finite Elements Modeling.
    * Mastered the use of software such as NASTRAN and SAMCEF Rotor to carry out critical speed and unbalance analysis.

    2003 - 2004 Responsible for the technical and commercial growth of Thermal and Mechanical fixed price activities, seeking out new clients, preparing tender documents, and maintaining strong client relationships.
    * Diversified engineering activities through the introduction and development of new clients to the value of 250 k EUR .
  • REALIX TECHNOLOGIES - Project Manager

    2000 - 2002 Responsible for the development and supply of two mechanical components for a combustion chamber of a military rocket.
    * Coordinated the project across all stakeholders (clients, suppliers, lab technicians) to successfully produce 150 serial items.
  • REALIX TECHNOLOGIES - Stress Engineer

    1997 - 2000 Responsible for finite elements analysis on a range of structures for the automotive, train and aeronautical industries.
    * Mastered the use of various software packages (RADIOSS, NASTRAN, ANSYS) and carried out a wider variety of studies, requiring focused commitment to deliver the required results.
