Guillaume Gomard
PhD student, Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL), UMR 5270, CNRS-INSA-ECL-UCBL
G.Gomard earned his Master’s degree in Engineering in 2009 at The European Engineering school of Chemistry, Polymers and Materials Science (ECPM) with a Major in Materials Sciences.
He joined the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnology (INL) in 2009 for an internship as a Master student in the Nanophotonic and Photovoltaic departments. His work at INL continued in the frame of a PhD thesis under the supervision of Christian Seassal and Emmanuel Drouard.
His current research aims at investigating both theoretically and experimentally advanced photonic and plasmonic concepts for the control of light absorption within thin-film photovoltaic solar cells. His activities in the Photonic and Photovoltaic communities include the participation in various international conferences and the review of scientific articles in Optics Letters and in the Journal of Industrial Ecology.

The Journal of Industrial Ecology.
