Title: Design, development and characterization of innovative microstructure and materials composition for micro-SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell).
Development a micro-SOFC cell for portable systems used at low temperature. Formulated the first inexpensive micro-cell by dip-coating (sol-gel process). Accomplished fundamental study on the electrode layers (microstructure/conductivity, in-situ reactions) and performances of the cell for applications.

Synthesis and characterization of ruthenium oxide nanoparticles for supercapacitor applications. Development of new synthesis method for ruthenium oxide nanoparticles by kinetic control of the synthesis. Identification of different phases of ruthenium oxide existing during the synthesis process.
