J'occupe actuellement la fonction de responsable déploiement amélioration continue et Lean pour les sociétés nouvellement acquises (CIAT, etc.).

En tant que responsable déploiement amélioration continue et Lean, je déploie le système d'exploitation ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence): 6S, VSM, Kaizen, Recherche de causes réelles, Lean, TPM, Certification des processus, ...

Je coache et forme les coordinateurs ACE et responsables de transformation Lean locaux.

Je suis formateur et auditeur EMEA pour ce même programme ACE.
J'ai été certifié en tant que «Lean transformation leader» par UTC en 2012 à la suite d’un projet de transformation avec le soutien de Porsche consulting. Nominé au niveau «ACE Master».

    2013 - 2014 • In charge of Lean and continuous improvement system (ACE) for the 3 manufacturing sites (Italy, France and Netherlands), the R&D site (France) and 11 distribution companies all across Europe.
    Local projects follow up and coordination.
    • Monitoring and coaching of the local ACE coordinators. Lean trainings organization.
  • Carrier SCS - Continuous Improvement Manager And Lean Transformation Leader

    2012 - 2013 • Move back on activities already held from 2007 to 2010
    • Practical and theoretical trainings in order to be certified as Lean transformation leader for the European division of BSS.
    - 7 training modules with Porsche consulting (4 weeks).
    - 5 transformation events coached by Porsche consulting (10 weeks).
    • ACE "Associate" level reached, nominated in order to reach "master level".
    • Organization and realization of a Lean training :"integrated production and logistics" (39 people trained).
    • Three year renewal assessment successfully validated in May 2012 (ISO 9001-2008).

    2011 - 2012 • Move back on activities already held from 2007 to 2010 but on a wider perimeter up to products sales and distribution.
    • Follow up of ACE exploitation system (continuous improvement):
    - Silver level maintained in 2011 for the production site.
    - Gold level maintained in 2011 for the R&D site.
    - Silver level maintained in 2011 for the spare parts S&D site.
    - Objective to reach in 2011 the Silver level for the finished goods S&D site (actually performing at the Bronze level).

    2010 - 2011 • Responsible of the Environmental, Health and Safety departments: 1 EH&S engineer, 1 safety technician, 1 environmental technician, 1 nurse, 1 medical assistant.
    • In charge of ISO 14001, improvement of work safety results, and management of the medical monitoring of employees.
    • Health, safety and working conditions committee president (CHSCT).
    • Scoring of 86/100 reached during the site assessment versus the UTC EH&S evaluation.
    • Also responsible for continuous improvement program (see mission from 2007 to 2010).
  • Carrier SCS - Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement Coordinator

    2007 - 2010 • Work coordination for the 25 continuous improvement pilots on the sites (manufacturing and support departments).
    • Responsible for the ACE documentation database (maintenance and improvement) and for continuous improvement system deployment progression reporting to UTC.
    • In charge of ISO 9001 certification since 2008.
    • Supervision of a quality systems technician.
    • Steering committee member.
    • In charge of the continuous improvement program (ACE) deployment and follow up for:
    - The R&D site since 2008. Gold level granted in 2008.
    - The manufacturing site since 2007. Silver level granted in 2008.
    • Three year renewal assessment successfully validated in April 2009 (progression to ISO 9001-2008).

    2005 - 2007 • Operational responsibility for two manufacturing workshops: water heat exchangers (Weld shop) and air heat exchangers (Coil shop).
    • Up to 130 operators (hourly, salaried and temps), 5 foremen, 1 manufacturing engineering technician, 1 quality technician, 1 continuous improvement technician, 1 procurement technician.
    • 2% productivity improvement reached while maintaining other areas metrics in line with the objectives defined with the manufacturing director (safety, quality, innovation, customer relationship).
    • In charge of a staff redeployment policy to prepare coil shop activities changes (validated by the unions).
    • External assessments and support activities held for ACE and quality WHQ (Germany, South Africa, etc.).
  • Carrier SCS - Continuous Improvement Pilot, Assessor and Trainer

    2004 - 2005 • Continuous improvement program deployment for the manufacturing workshop (6 main assembly lines). Silver level granted. Translation and adaptation of the program criteria.
    • Internal and external assessments held for ACE and quality EMEA (France, Hungary, etc.).
    • Certified as bronze assessor for manufacturing activities.
    • Continuous improvement trainer for both internal and external sessions in French or English language (Holland, Egypt, France, etc.). New trainings modules development based on site’s requirements. In charge of the logistics for the training sessions held in France (60 people trained – 2 sessions)
  • Carrier SCS - Production Supersvisor

    2003 - 2004 • Production supervision for 3 liquid chillers assembly lines. Up to 30 operators (hourly and temps), skills tracking, production organization to reach objectives defined by the production manager (safety, quality, etc.).
    • Continuous improvement pilot for the assembly lines. Qualified and Bronze levels granted end 2003.
  • Carrier SCS - Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager

    2001 - 2003 • Weld shop capacity increase and move, 6 months lead time respected with no negative impact on production. 2% productivity improvement while respecting provisional budget of 0.9 $M.
    • Qualified as internal assessor for the ISO 14001 norms. 3 assessments conducted up to the definition, follow up and verification of corrective actions. 4 improvements suggestions emitted.
    • Continuous improvement program (ACE) deployed for the manufacturing engineering department within lead time defined with UTC (Bronze level).
    • Coordination and preparation of a visitors day on the site (900 people attendance, satisfaction rate of 90%), planning of the 50 volunteers in charge of the organization.
    • Risk analysis concerning use of CO2 as a refrigerant fluid, preventive actions put in place in collaboration with various national safety agencies.
    • Water cooled liquid chiller assembly line move and capacity increase (no deviation from budget estimation).
  • Carrier SCS - Industrial Organisation Manufacturing Engineering Technician

    1999 - 2001 • Definition of the layout for 3 new assembly lines from their computer modeling (flow simulation) to their commissioning. Work coordination, respect of initial lead time and budget defined 1.2 $M).
    • In charge of production equipment upgrade to insure year 2000 transition, identification, evaluation and recommendations. Modifications follow up and consolidation of a full report for external assessors in November 1999.
    • IT responsibility for the manufacturing engineering department (new equipment acquisition, existing material upgrades, users support, specifications definition). IT tools standardization leading to better department data integration and better knowledge sharing.
  • Carrier SCS - Industrialization Manfacturing Engineering Technician

    1998 - 1999 • New products industrialization within a cross functional team (R&D, quality, logistics, marketing, etc.).
    • Industrial and training documentation development in order to allow a much faster ramp up of the production (+30%) and a better new operator’s integration.
    • Products and processes FMEA groups animation leading to production defect decrease and better products ease of assembly.
    • Budget definition for a new assembly line, assembly times validation (through prototyping) leading to a precise cost of production calculation.
    • Economical and technical study on flow simulation software introduction at Carrier SCS.
  • Carrier SCS - Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Compressors assembly)

    1996 - 1998 • Definition and acquisition of new production equipment. Definition of new gauges in order to improve productivity by 3%, equipment’s upgrade to comply with CE norms.
    • Quality and safety metrics follow up, ISO 14001 deployment (certification granted end 1997).
    • Specification definition for an electrical production test bench, definition and installation of working stations.
    • Manufacturing engineering department general specifications definition, Kanban containers and loops definition.
    • Follow up and corrective actions tracking concerning ISO 9000 norms for the production area.
    • Trainer for the "manufacturing flexibility" concept (150 people trained)
  • Carrier SCS - Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Electrical assembly)

    1994 - 1996 • Specification definition for an electrical production test bench
    • Preparation for production of a new electronic regulation, definition and installation of working stations.
