In 1982, after been biologist at the lobster hatchery of the Houat Island, I went to North of Japan to work on abalone and scallop farming. Later this I came back to France were I started a tilapia farming on the warm water from nuclear power plant before go to Egypt to develop the Maryut Fish farm project as AQUA SERVICE specialist.
Then I worked 10 years in Ecuador from 1984 to 1993 developing the shrimp hatchery MACROBIO during 5 years before be contracted by SEPIA to managed 1000 hectares of shrimp farms.
Then after I worked as consultant in several countries as Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras , Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Chile, India, Iran, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, New Caledonia, Guinea, Gabon, Madagascar (were I have design and c-develop AQUAMEN), Mozambique, Tanzania, ...
I was the first General Manager of AQUA TECHNA ( www.aquatechna.com ) from 2004 to 2009 . During these years, we create a line of feed additives which were commercialized in several countries as Vietnam, Ecuador, Egypt and Turkey.
From 2009, I am working as independent consultant in several countries. I had a contract to be production manager of the New Caledonia shrimp packing plant during all the 2011 season. The purpose of these contract was to manage the production and train a new production manager.
During these last years my main job was sourcing and quality control and training for several major French importers or foreign candidates to export Head On shrimp to the EU. I had also to participate to missions to solve specific production or quality problems.
My experience is concerning: abalone, scallop, tilapia, pangasius and mostly SHRIMP farming.
