Hervé Quiroz

Hervé Quiroz has been the lead architect of Componize since its inception. He is also in charge of leading the developer team.

Prior to joining Componize, Hervé was a research fellow and instructor at the University of Aix-Marseille, teaching a range of topics from operating system mechanisms to distributed systems, open architectures and advanced programming techniques in Java, and participating on an R&D team focused on parallel computing, mobile agents and secure communication systems.

Hervé is an open source enthusiast. He has been part of the FreeBSD operating system developers’ team since 2004 and has contributed to several Apache Foundation projects. He is also a proud resident of the university and tourist hub of Aix-en-Provence.
