In charge of Down Stream Processing unit.
Manage priorities, budgets, timelines and human resources for the DSP unit.
Scale up of production capacity: handling of large scale production batches (up to 200L). Set-up of an in house production area in respect of high QA specifications.
Manage development of purification processes and process transfer to CMOs for GMP production
Manage purification process evaluations, lead candidate selection, evaluation of new purification technologies and assist in formulation studies.
Maintain and optimize QA system in interaction with QA manager.Propose and develop new analytical and purification technologies.

High analytical background: Mass sprectrometry (M-Scan SA for 4 years: ES-MS, LC-MS/MS, peptide mapping, GLP/GMP study director, HPLC,PK studies)

Mass spectrometry analysis of peptides, protein. ES-MS, LC-MS/MS tecnics. Q-TOF, API3000, Quattro Premier XE fitted with UPLC mass spectrometer. Study director in GLP-GMP studies.
Peptides and proteins analysis, peptide mapping.PK studies in biological fluids.

In the separation department, in charge to set up the lab at the early stage of the Company.
Industrial approach of proteomics was the aim of the company.
Development of purification and separation processes. Optimization of process transfer and analytics methods.
In charge of staff training,chromatography equipments and contact with suppliers.

Pruification of proteins and antibodies. Product characterization. Process development. In charge of freeze drying for RD department samples.
